| We could characterize this domicile by saying that it reveals the ways we relate to our environment, especially to the people in intimate or early life settings. This is somewhat different than the nature of the Ascendant and the 1st House, as that important position in the natal chart speaks more about the impression we make upon the environment and not so much about the interactions that take place within a given social setting. The 1st House does indeed tell us something about our early life circumstances, but the 3rd House will go into this area in much greater detail.
